Automatic Control Valve Course

This course is designed for plumbers, engineers, cross-connection control inspectors, backflow technicians, building supervisors, and anyone involved with the management, operations, and maintenance of water distribution systems.

A dynamic blend of classroom instruction and hands-on training, this class covers the operation, diagnostics, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automatic control valves.

To successfully complete this course, students will demonstrate and apply diagnostics for automatic control valves. Students will analyze whether a water system is having difficulties with an automatic control valve or the water system itself. Students will also prepare a viable preventive maintenance program for control valves.
