Certification Notes

WITS is privileged to host the hands-on portion of the AWWA Backflow Assembly Tester Recertification exams at the WITS facility in Sunnyvale. Please see the course calendar for exam dates.

Written exams must be scheduled at an AWWA computer lab.

Important Notes

Prerequisites: This course is for currently certified backflow testers. Students must also have a high school diploma or equivalent education, be over 18 years old, and be able to effectively communicate in English, including speaking and writing skills.

Please note: The cost of this course does not include the cost of the AWWA exam. Water Industry Training Specialists, Inc. has no affiliation with AWWA. All exam applications and fees must be sent directly to AWWA.
