About Us
Water Industry Training Specialists, Inc. is a California Corporation based in Sunnyvale, CA, dedicated to training and educating students, water districts, and the public. We train professionals who want to specialize in backflow prevention assembly testing, cross-connection control, and automatic control valve maintenance and repair.
ISince 2011, Water Industry Training Specialists has been accredited as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). In obtaining and maintaining this accreditation, we have demonstrated our compliance with the ANSI/IACET Standard which is recognized internationally as a standard of good practice. We provide contact hours and continuing education units (CEUs) for our students. With over 30 years’ experience in backflow and cross-connection
created innovative, dynamic training programs. Our courses and events allow our students to stay on the cutting edge of water industry standards. By maintaining close relationships with water industry professionals, health departments, and certifying agencies like the CA-NV AWWA and ABPA , we will continue to meet the needs of our testers and specialists through continuing education.
